This recipe is just the easiest fresh strawberry pie you've ever cooked. There's no added sugar to the filling. You just use the sweetness of the strawberries here, so your strawberries must be very sweet and ripe! The interesting point is that despite the baking process, the pie still has healthy nutrients like dietary fiber, Iron, and Calcium.
Well, before you start cooking, keep in mind a few tips:
Pie crust
22 g (1 pieces)
Water
30 g (⅒ cup)
Corn starch
10 g (⅒ tbsp)
Sugar free strawberry gelatin
15 g (1 tbsp)
Strawberries
200 g (1 cup)
Mint
Please follow the next steps:
1
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2
Put one crust on the bottom of a pie plate.
3
Sprinkle the edge of the pie crust with a little bit of water.
4
Bake pie crust for 15 minutes or until the edges are light golden brown. Let it cool.
5
Layer cut strawberries on the bottom of the cooled crust.
6
Stir together water and cornstarch in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Lower heat and simmer while constantly stirring until thickened.
7
Remove from heat and stir in gelatin. Stir until completely dissolved.
8
Pour over strawberries.
9
Place in a fridge until set, about 5 hours or overnight.
10
Serve your pie with mint, if desired.
