Aloe vera juice contains many healing plant compounds, vitamins, enzymes, amino acids, and minerals. Thus, consuming aloe vera juice comes with the following benefits.
Before you settle on making aloe juice, ensure to choose the correct one for consumption. Taking the wrong kind can be toxic for the organism. We recommend buying aloe leaves from trusted sources.
Aloe vera leaf
60 g (2 pieces)
Water
80 g (0.3 cup)
Sweetener, Lemon juice, Honey, Mint
Please follow the next steps:
1
Rinse aloe vera leaf to remove all deposits of mud and dirt.
2
Put the leaf on the cutting board and trim off both ends.
3
Keep it in a vertical position for about 15 minutes.
4
Then wipe the latex off the bottom part with a kitchen tissue.
5
Cut the aloe leaf 2 to 3 inches long pieces horizontally.
6
Arrange the pieces into the cold water and leave for 3 minutes.
7
Repeat rinsing 2-3 times. After, cut off both edges of the aloe piece, discarding them.
8
Peel off the green rind with a knife or a peeler on both sides to get a transparent white aloe gel.
9
Ensure there are no traces of yellow aloe latex in the gel. Rinse it.
10
Place the needed amount of the aloe gel into the blender, add water or favorite fruit juice and blend until all aloe pieces are mashed.
11
Add the lemon juice or honey (a sweetener is also a good option), and serve with a mint leaf.
12
Consume the juice immediately!
Always check processed juices for sugar.
The closer the ingredient to the beginning of the ingredient list, the higher its concentration in the product.
20 minutes after each meal, have a glass of warm water. This both encourages you to eat less and aids digestion.
